Robyn Jones
Jonesy here! I love being an artist, and especially being a tattoo artist. It's not lost on me that tattoos are "forever", and I feel honored to be chosen by so many to help create their bodyart.

BIO
I'm Robyn (She/Her), sometimes known as 'Jonesy'. Either name is fine by me- just follow your heart!
I have been tattooing since 2013- and can't imagine having any other job (and I have a vivid imagination)! Tattooing is as passion of mine and I feel blessed to have found such a wonderful profession, and to have had the chance to work with so many amazing clients over the years.
I have had an obsession with drawing and illustration since my childhood, which lead me to getting an Art Degree from Goucher College. I loved creating art, but found after graduation that having some external direction was good for me, this made tattooing a natural step forward. Tattooing is fascinating, evolving, challenging, meaningful, physical, and allows for some lovely interactions with wonderful people. The whole process engaged my brain in a way that nothing else every had before, and continues to be immensely fulfilling. (when I learned at age 30 that I had ADHD, it became clear why all of those factors came together to create a job that would keep my attention for over a decade).
In my art I tend to be drawn towards fantasy, mythological, and natural themes, but I like to keep on my toes and try new things.
I live in Baltimore, Maryland. With my loving spouse, our two rascal cats, and scallywag of a dog.
I'm a big ol' nerd, who loves fantasy, sci-fi, mythology, history, horror, and science. I enjoy gaming, largely Pen and Paper RPGS, but I also play some board, video, and tabletop miniature games as well. Other main hobbies (there are so many) include reading (audiobook and paper), repairing and renovating my house, gardening, hiking, and competitive strongman training/events.
I have a handful of chronic conditions which can at times makes these hobbies -and even work- difficult, but I try not to let them rule my life. Though I could, admittedly, be better at balance. But nobody can be perfect, right?
A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST
I try to walk the line between taking myself seriously as an artist, and letting my clients have some fun and whimsy. Because life is short and tattoos should also be fun!
I pride myself on my client centered service. Both seasoned tattoo collectors and first-timers are provided a safe, friendly environment. I want to make it especially clear that I welcome people of all colors, creeds, and members of the LGBTQIA+ Community to my chair.
I enjoy a full range of art in tattooing, morbid to pretty, organic to geometric, color, and black and grey. I enjoy a challenge, and am always looking to improve. Check out my Tattoo Gallery page for some examples!
